Founder of the Mt. Sutro Stewards, Craig has recruited volunteers to donate thousands of hours to San Francisco’s Sutro Forest. Through his monthly work parties, Craig enlisted neighbors and other nature-lovers to help clear and restore trails and rare plant habitats. Dawn is replacing drug and gang activity with community and harmony at Bella Vista Park, an Oakland school playground that doubles as a community park. She secured funding for a park beautification project involving 500 students and rolled up her sleeves to help install and grout hundreds of tiles.
